Institute co-directors

The three co-directors of the Institute and co-ordinators of the training programs are clinical psychologists and systemic psychotherapist. They have been training and supervising trainees in systemic and family psychotherapy since 1998. They are members of various psychological and psychotherapy associations in Greece, the UK and the USA. They are members of EFTA-CIM and hold the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) by the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).

TSABIKA V. BAFITI, M.Sc, Ph.D., ECP

Born in Rhodes, Greece. She lives and works in Maroussi, Athens. She is married and mother of a son. She is a licensed psychology and systemic therapist working with individuals, families, children and groups since 1993. Founder (2002) of a counseling, psychotherapy and diagnostic service (www.ektonendon.gr), which also provides guidance seminars in schools and various organizations. She is one of the three founders and scientific directors of the newly established ‘Training and Research Institute for Systemic Psychotherapy’, Athens, Greece.

GEORGE KALARRITIS, MMedSci, IADAC, CGP, CFT, ECP

He was born in 1961. He is married and a father of two daughters. He is in full time private practice as a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, family therapist, and alcohol & drug abuse counselor in Athens, Greece. He is one of the three founders and scientific directors of the newly established “Training and Research Institute for Systemic Psychotherapy”.

ATHENA ANDROUTSOPOULOU, PH.D., ECP

Born in Athens, Greece where she now lives with her husband and daughter. She works full time as a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist and family therapist in independent practice since 1998. She is one of the three founders and scientific directors of the newly established ‘Training and Research Institute for Systemic Psychotherapy’, Athens, Greece.
